When it comes to science, who should we be listening to? Politicians or scientists?
Where should we get our information from? The media or scientific publications?
Should we be alarmed by human activity caused rising sea levels?
I’m not alarmed. Mother Nature produces far more change than humans do. For the past 20,000 years (Caribbean) sea level has been rising at an alarming rate. Well it was until about 8,000 years ago. For the past 8,000 years it’s been rising at a very stable and slowing rate.
For alarm and dramatic action, we should have data that shows a sudden and significant change over the past one hundred years. But the data doesn’t show that.

For more detailed information and numerous other scientific studies that agree with this, I would suggest you read “Hot Talk, Cold Science” by Fred Singer. Unfortunately Mr. Singer passed away two years ago. If you doubt his credentials as an expert in climate, consider that he designed the first satellite instrument for measuring atmospheric ozone. He has a long list of accreditations.
