Independence Movements Worldwide
Savoie (Savoy) has declared (December 8, 2021) independence from France. As tyranny rises worldwide, we are seeing more and more independence movements. Tyrants beware!

The wording is quite similar to the American Declaration of Independence of 1776.
Translated beginning: “We, the People, can no longer hope for anything from those who claim to be our elites, and do not recognize them. They have shown only too much the prevalence of their ambitions and their personal interests by working without scruples to the detriment of our fundamental rights.”
A key here in my mind is a recognition of the natural rights of humans and the rejection of governments to intrude and interfere with those rights.
Further: “CONSIDERING that the’ State of Savoie, directly mandated by the People of Savoie, must remain as far as possible from the pitfalls that are in particular corruption and discrimination, in order that’ through its regal missions, it creates for all a legislative environment derived from common sense, reason and which is conducive to individual development.”
Will they have wise leadership and construct a government which truly respects the rights of individuals? Will their design be able to withstand the test of time to resist corruption? Or are they simply fed up with the French government and will simply repeat the mistakes of other nations?
Savoie’s independence movement is not new, it appears to have started in 1996.
Today, I sent them a message offering to help design their government, but I doubt they will even reply.
