The U.S. Postal Service is changing how they postmark mail.
A postmark will now date when the post office processes your mail, not when you dropped it off.
Humanity continues to cut corners and make life difficult for the common person.
So be careful and make sure you mail your bill payments, legal paperwork, tax return or anything else time sensitive: early!
Had a conversation recently with the grocery bag boy (in his early 20’s I’d guess) who did not know how to address an envelope and thought stamps were “like stickers, for decoration.”
So the post office is now helping the IRS! 🤮
