Intelligence is not associated with any life improvements. Intelligent people aren’t happier, they don’t live longer, they aren’t healthier.
However critical thinking is associated with better lives. People who are critical thinkers live longer, are happier, are healthier and overall are more successful.
So what is critical thinking? Critical thinking is questioning everything and not just accepting it as it is presented to you. Critical thinking involves a lot of “what ifs”.
Unlike intelligence, critical thinking can be acquired and improved. For review: education does not make you smarter! There is no increase in intelligence from education! However, training yourself to think critically is a skill well worth practicing and improving! Critical thinking is perhaps the most valuable skill you can teach your children!

Next time you think something is a fact, stop and consider other possibilities? What if masks actually did stop viruses from spreading? What if the experimental shots actually do work? What if President Biden’s inflationary policies are actually better than the alternative?
Critical thinking involves opening your mind to consider the impossible. What if space aliens actually exist and have visited the Earth? What if the Earth is flat?
So let’s take an example. What if 5G actually causes Covid and there is no virus? If that’s true, then how come we see contagious patterns with Covid? How come we see people getting sick where there is no 5G? Is it possible that humans are just so toxic that 5G triggers them to have an illness that presents like Covid?
The point of critical thinking is not to find facts, but to explore possibilities! Once you’ve explored other possibilities you can make better decisions!
Thank You, My Dear!!! Impeccable timing!!!
I love this !
For me critical thinking wasn’t taught enough in my childhood and I had to learn to do so becoming an adult . It’s so easy to get caught up in not questioning and wanting to be right , but it’s much more healthy to have great critical thinking and think for yourself!
Id love to hear ways we can work on critical thinking too !
