Decline of Humanity
Paranoia or Trust?
Belligerent Biden Blows It Again!
The Biden administration has banned Kaspersky Antivirus from the USA. This is a significant blow to the cyber security of the world, or at least the USA. Why would the Biden administration do this?
Kaspersky’s significant contributions to security for over twenty five years is being ignored because of the Biden administration’s attitude toward Russia.
Could the Russian government insert a spy into Kaspersky for malicious intent? Sure! Could the Russian government pressure Kaspersky into malicious actions against it’s customers? Sure!
The exact same thing can be said of Microsoft! Which is why other countries are rapidly trying to move away from Microsoft Windows. (they don’t trust the USA)
Israel is suspected of manufacturing explosive pagers and radios and corrupting the supply chain so they were sold to Hezbollah and used for a terrorist attack. This is no simple operation, it’s something straight out of a James Bond movie. It took serious planning and knowledge (spying) to pull this off.
This is top level spycraft to use plastic explosives (RDX and PETN which are the main ingredients for “Semtex”) that are not able to be detected by the typical scans intended to prevent transport of such dangerous items. Someone had to reverse engineer the firmware of these devices to produce units that functioned normally yet could be triggered by a secret code.
This was no accident, these devices are reliable units that have been sold for decades. Clever front companies were established to facilitate the transport and sale of them. Now people question the safety of their own devices.
Ford has filed a patent on technology in their vehicles to listen to the passengers, predict future destinations and pitch custom advertising to them. I’m sure a lot of us expect the same (lack of) privacy in our cars that we have in our homes.
Our government has been monitoring our communications for decades (and not just since cell phones hit the market).
Email, one of the greatest inventions of all time has been ruined by spammers and spying.
Human advancement has been based on collaboration. The Internet is perhaps the shining example of this. But our collaboration is being undermined.
We are bombarded by propaganda and “AI” technology driven fake images, sounds and videos, at a level which breeds massive distrust.
Don’t even get me started on the distrust that fiat money has embedded into our society.
Will we continue down this path of decline? Or will we rally to leaders like Bobby Kennedy and Tulsi Gabbard that are pushing back and calling for free speech and compromise to work out our differences of opinion.
It’s really quite fascinating to step out of the echo chamber of those like minded to you, and listen to what is said by “the other side”. Both sides accuse each other of the exact same offenses! Is it just one big clever endeavor to distract the population while the wealthy get wealthier?
How can we rebuild trust in one another?

If the hand keeps shaking the jar of ants, nobody sees the hand doing the shaking! Baked into the pie, my friend. It’s a feature and not a bug. :)
