It’s come to america? 😠

Oh yes, depends on the state and the platform you are trying to use. How I VPN, and which browser I use influences whether I get blocked or not on several platforms.

I have to reinvest in a VPN. I’ve slacked.

I believe even a free Proton email account includes free VPN service for one device. Some commercial VPNs might be worse than not having one.

By the way, I think it is all about contracts for big tech companies doing the censoring at taxpayer expense so another scam under the guise of protection like Covid.

Yes, more tyranny and surveillance.

It all begs the question what are they trying to prevent you seeing. The trolls still seem to get a pass. I have one of my posts age restricted although if one is logged into substack I believe people can view ok.

It doesn't make any sense at all on Substack.

Thanks, John. I have zero intention of doing anything the blob requests.

Slide on over to Sasha Latypova’s stack and read her latest. Class action suit against Substack is being reviewed as are other remedies for this BS.

December 27th is a notable date of full internet censorship in Australia.

and so it begins…I’ve been seeing age verification for posts on X as well…just a matter of time before we need facial recognition to get online at all…

Interesting! I haven't seen one yet on Twitter.

But yes, this is spreading.
