I saw the Gab study. Thank goodness I only use a specific Chatgpt tool because it's for my t Shirt business. Otherwise I have been using Grok because of the more balanced answers. Gab said Gemini is also pretty woke. I don't ask any of them questions that are opinions though. Only pure facts like you would find in an encyclopedia. Or how to fix something around the house. And for health questions, I like Brighteon best because I hate getting the "you should not rely on ai for health questions, but see a medical professional instead" message from the others. As if medical professionals will know the answers! 😂
What you use it for definitely is important! For example for work (software development) I couldn't care less whether it is wildly biased on political topics.
Gemini seemed to overwhelmingly give "both sides" (I've never tried it myself) so I'm not sure I'd call it "woke" but they showed zero percent conservative viewpoints so Gemini is biased. I wouldn't trust anything from Google!
Overall AI is quite poor on health topics (I ask myself and my personal library of books). Definitely don't ask "medical professionals"! 😇
How to fix a sink, repair a doorknob, etc... shouldn't really matter what the bias is. I was slow to adopt usage of simulated intelligence, but now I have to admit it makes a very handy "encyclopedia" / "search engine" (remember "Google Search" is biased too!). I'm not sure I'd ever be willing to pay for it. I guess we'll see what the future brings. I do think we are going to get addicted to how easy it is to use.
The tool was $10 and it gives me keywords and niche suggestions, so definitely worth it. I don't pay for anything else. I love it, as way more details than google.
